Volunteers stepping up for local families facing the hardest season of their lives
One thing people don't always see about being a Realtor is that sometimes we meet people during the hardest season of their lives. Behind almost every short sale or foreclosure is a story — a job lost, a health crisis, a divorce, the death of a spouse, or a financial burden nobody saw coming. I frequently work with homeowners who are down to the basics, sometimes without even working plumbing, and with almost no one to call for help. It's made me realize that what these families need isn't just someone to sell a house—they need a community. So I'm wondering…what if we built one? If you're willing to clean a yard, move boxes, cook a meal, or simply lend a hand when someone's world has fallen apart, I'd love for you to join a network of neighbors who show up when it matters most.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.”
